Killing Joke

Hosannas From the Basements of Hell

Take a book of every rock band formed in the last 20 years, stick a pin in it and you'll hit one that will gladly bow down in front of Killing Joke.

They set out wanting to inspire people. To say they've achieved this is a massive understatement.

Combining power and melody like no other, they tear down the listener with bulldozer-like ferocity, as on the title track, and then build them up again.

They have brains, brawn, always wear their hearts on their sleeves, they're intimidating, unstoppable and always teetering at the edge of destruction. True genius.
